Y entonces llega ese día que te preguntas: Qué segundo idioma elijo? No elijas por los fonemas, no elijas por si te han dicho que es más o menos fácil… elije por tu película favorita, por tu comida preferida o tu profesión. Es decir, no estudies alemán si odias el frío, no estudies chino, si no te gusta la cultura china… estudia japonés porque te gusta el Manga, o estudia francés porque la central de tu empresa está en Francia…
Tardes más o menos en estudiar un segundo idioma, es muy probable que elijas mejor si te dejas llevar por tus gustos. El camino será más agradable y corto ya que estarás más motivado y probablemente, decidas hacer más inmersiones lingüísticas cuando lo estés estudiando.
Poner en práctica en la vida real lo que has estudiado no siempre es posible. Pero con los idiomas, es fácil. Cuando superas el primer curso de un segundo idioma, estás deseando poder hablar con un nativo, y así, ver la utilidad para motivarte para continuar.
Evita invertir tiempo y dinero en estudiar un idioma cuya cultura no aprecias, seguramente, en el futuro buscarás tener contacto con la cultura que sientas más afinidad.
